The International Taekwon-Do and Budosports Federation was founded in 1986 in the Philippines and had its headquarters until 1995 in Angeles City. In 1996 the headquarters moved to Germany.

The main goal of the ITBF is to unite all true honorable Martial Artists and to preserve and positively develop their bright ideals in dedication to the traditional spirit of BUDO.

Another goal is the development of technical excellence, fellowship, moral values, character and self-confidence of every member in the Martial Arts in our organization.

The ITBF is an independant non-profit educational association for traditional Martial Arts unbounded to a specific style and has members in all five continents.

With its worldwide seminar programs the ITBF is providing outstanding services to all members through expert instruction and certification.

All instructors are in continuous education to ensure the high standards of the ITBF.
